karen asked:
I’m considering upgrading to a new Blue-ray player… my concern is my tons and tons of old DVDs… here’s my question: Can a blue-ray player play both DVD’s & blue rays or do you buy one that has a seperate DVD built in… basically what’s my best bet to upgrade but still be able to watch my old DVDs??? Thanks

Yes, a Blu-Ray player will play all of your existing DVD’s as well as CDs. A lot of Blu-Ray fans say that the Playstation 3 is the best Blu-Ray player available today, even if you do not want to play games with it.
A Blu-Ray player can play both regular DVD’s and Blu-Ray DVD’s. I have a Blu-Ray player (Playstation 3) and it plays both regular DVD’s and Blu-Ray DVD’s and I know that all other Blu-Ray DVD players can do so as well.
bluerey has reverse capapbltities which meanssimply blue rey WILL play oder standard dvd’s but standard player will not play blu rey keep in mibd that your older DVD even with them playing on blu rey will NOT give you HD quaility
